The Plynlimon Trust is a registered charitable trust formed in 1986, registration number 700748; a county wide charitable organisation that provides goods and services for disadvantaged, elderly or disabled people through fund raising.

Its board comprises of 4 trustees and 5 administering trustees who are all business men and women from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Plynlimon Trust impacts positively on the lives of thousands of people every year and supports some of the most vulnerable people in society, whether older people living in isolated rural areas or people with disabilities who are unable to use public transport. We are not afraid to tackle pressing need.

Plynlimon Trust currently has twenty two employed staff, 10 volunteers and an apprentice.

The Trust’s funding comes from a variety of sources:

  • The CHAR River Wye raft races
  • Sponsorship
  • European Community
  • Trusts and foundations
  • Local Authorities
  • Private and corporate donations.

Through its various activities it has raised over four million pounds.

At the core of Plynlimon Trust’s activities is the belief that everyone has something to offer no matter who they are, where they come from or whatever disadvantage they may suffer from.
